Directions for finding Le Haut Claquet

Arriving from Coutances, the 60 km/h restriction and sign for Le Claquet

En arrivant de Coutances, sur le D 7, vous verrez le panneau 60/km/hr et 'Le Claquet'

Start signalling now for your Left turn - the road passes between the two houses on the left of the picture (the ones immediately after the red car)

Tourner à gauche entre les deux maisons en pierre, juste après celle avec la voiture rouge et vous verrez la petite route qui monte - sans neige, j'espère!

This is what you will see as you complete the turn - hopefully minus the snow! Go straight on for about 200 metres and you will then see

Continuez tout droit env 200 m et sur le droit il y a le panneau pour le lieu-dit Le Haut Claquet - tournez à droit, serrez à droit et allez jusqu'au fond. Veuillez rouler doucement, il y aura peutêtre les animaux ou les randonneurs sur la route

the lieu-dit sign for Le Haut Claquet. Turn right and go straight down the chemin rurale until you get to the end. Please drive carefully - there are two passing places on the way if you need them but there are also two bends which obscure your view.

At the end of the road you will find two houses, the gite is the second one. The next photo shows the gite first, looking back down the road, then the main house.
